Get Involved
Do you want to engage with your local community in a meaningful way? If you are interested in volunteering at one of our programs, please find out how below.
Become a volunteer at one of our local programs
We rely heavily on volunteers from the local community to help run our programs. Each year we have over 100 volunteers participate, some are weekly, some are one-off. We firmly believe that providing a space for people to volunteer in a meaningful way within their own local community is vital for healthy communities.
Foothills Community Care volunteers give anywhere between 4 hours a week to 2 hours a month to their work. Each is characterised by a real desire to connect with people who are struggling, and a willingness to come alongside and journey with others, in a shared experience of transformation that creates community.
We require all our volunteers to have a current Working With Children's Check. If you do not have one already, you can apply for free. For more information click here.
